You guys are really that worry about raising the motor 2 or 3mm? Why not just try it first and it's affecting handling in a bad way then work on lowing the motor but I doubt you will see any ill effect.

I raised the front and rear pod using carbon from a old chassis and it did not effect handling at all on my CRC X10LE. The CRC tires work great and the car feels like it is on rails.

Already did. On Asphalt. Car needs help. Cannot hurt. Just sharing. Done on road for 35 years.

I can help in the short term.
Rick I have a xray speed merchant conversion it has a ride height of 9mm with the CRC tires. So i would like to get to 5mm ride height in the cleanest possible way. If you have a product or suggestions I will take it.

I would imagine that as a band-aid, cutting spacers from CF to shim the bulkheads can get y'all to the ride height needed. If I were still in a machine shop, I'd be making offset bulkheads right now for most pod designs that can't rise the axle high enough. This is a great opportunity to have a 1st class retrofit to solve a problem. I only have a couple CRC cars to base a design on but if someone has machining available I might be willing to share some models.

The US Indoor Champs would like to announce that World GT-R will be offered this year as an exhibition class. This will be GT bodies, pan car and rubber tires. The full rules can be found on this thread. The race thread can be found here

CRC will provide a free set of tires to the first 20 entries, and the Champs will offer a discounted price of $45 dollars for this as a second class. So blow the dust off those WGT cars, mount up a cool GT based body and come on out and give Brian Wynn hell on the track

Right and left bulkheads from the Xray X1
This might be the end result to fixing the rear ride height but I was hoping to avoid dropping an additional $100 on parts and postage.

I made my first run with my old Gen-X at the Gate last night. I took a WAG at a setup and the car was great. I actually got it to traction roll a few times. Now understand that the grip level is out the roof right now after the Halloween Classic last weekend (220+ entries). But I believe I had a great starting point. I will be signing up for the champs soon.

Slider pod kit, WTF pod plates with the extra holes, CRC wheels and tires and a fresh Nissan GT-R body. The old LE will never be the same.
