[QUOTE=Advil]
The Tech Tools ROAR provided measures both with the same box. It really is a neat piece of engineering.

Is the box made by the same people or similar to the one that was used for 200mm gas nats in Toledo? Looking at the one pic it looks like it but I'm just curious as it was a really nice piece.

Well, I guess you would get in the symantics of what is a part of the chassis, and what is a bumper. Regardless, please bring these concerns up in the ROAR Rule thread in the Chat Forum. We wil try to adress them in the appropriate comittee.

Looks like this is gonna be great race. !!!!

That rule basically means all Oval cars are illegal and some on-road 12th scales as well.

I was told that they were in fact made by the same company that built the 200mm Nitor TC Tech Box. A very nice piece of engineering and machine work.

That is funny James. Perhaps we can take a collection of cut-offs and glue them back together for Bill. He might get a couple sets of foams.

Bill - just pulling your leg. Chances are your early preparation will prove to be an advantage.

See you at the track

Look at it on the positive side....he now has perfect cut-offs to make 31mm tires.

Sorry guys......no wheel dots. We must follow rule 7.2.2

7.2.2 Stick-on wheel disks are not allowed. Unless other means are authorized by the Race Director, the disks must be secured to the wheel by the axle nut or screws.

Sorry, I was mistaken on this. There is a seperate body template to measure body width included with the Tech Tools.

RDX-Bill ...this is good news for you, since you cut your tires down to 28mm width, you can now fasten wheel dots to your wheels as long as the screw heads are no more than 3 mm.
