Think hes looking for the timing screws not the stator screws. The trinity's are 6mm and motivs are 10. Can't wait for the new motor!

What surface and size of track? Also what is your driving style?

A good starting point though is 4.1 with 47* timing then adjust from there. Large asphalt tracks I'll run as low as 3.7/3.8 and small carpet tracks I'll go as high as 4.3/4.4.

Have you put it on the motor analyser to see what you have gained from using titanium screws ?

One of our new racers today had an issue with a Motiv MC2 that he had recently purchased. In fact other than a test day a few weeks ago today was the first outing. The car would intermittently run at reduced power and then pick up and act normal for a couple of laps and then would slow down as if the batteries had dumped. We suspected the sensor wire so we attempted to change it. When the sensor plug was removed from the motor it was noticed that one of the pins in the motor came out in the plug. It was an end one for what that is worth. I am acting only as a witness to the concern and stated that I would post it here. He will be in touch by phone on Monday morning with all the details and purchase information. I hope you can help him.

Thanks for listening.

The delivery will take a while as I am having them delivered to the UK from the states.

I know this has been asked before but any news or whisper of when the new motor (MC3) is coming out?

I am in a position to buy myself a present (I have Earned it &#128512. So I have been looking at the Reds racing v2 motors or the Schuurspeed v4 motors. I do like my MC2 so would like to stick with Motiv.

The last I heard was late February, but it's now March.

Default Thanks, Paul!

Just a quick public note of thanks to Paul who's visiting the Carpet Nats at Apex.

I was concerned about my MC2 motor's performance so asked Paul to take a look at it. To say that his customer service was outstanding would be an understatement.

Thanks again for a quality product and service!

Cheers,
Robert

Just setup the discharge bank with the icharger but the cooling fan doesn't run. Should it run all the time or only when the resistors get to a specific temperature?
Thanks
