What's the rules for GT10?
|
USGT rules with a 17.5 for the outdoor. It's a pretty big class locally.
|
WGT outdoors ?
Seems like F1 would be a far more relevant class and no 1/12 stock or Superstock ? |
yup! just got a message from Rob King, all classes on the Roar web page are the classes available for the paved nats.

Talk about a complete failure on ROARs part again to understand the trends in Onroad. F1 would have been better then WGT for sure on aspalt. Are they limiting classes and considering what choices they offer because of regional participation? I am trying to wrap my head around the logic.BTW GT10 is the wrong choice if they are already running a 17.5 sedan class. USGT specs would have been better.

Roar typically doesn't make the class decisions, that is usually the track's decision.

Then that makes more sense.

Steve Dunn Region5 Director Regarding GT10 it is what is most popular for the area. Most people that already run it would not be interested in having to get a 21.5t to run. 17.5t=Racers GT10=Guys who have fun racing scale looking cars Also for guys worried about Spec sauce, 1. I don't know how you police it 2. Probably not needed as most anything works about the same, differences are usually how your car feels the first couple laps. 3. I would support it if they implemented it. |

Everyone should already know better than to understand or make sensible logic from a roar decision.... Same things every year.

What happened to the old days where you had Stock and Mod Nationals.
