Both classes were handout motors

I read that they used the monster stock and Chamleon 2 19t as hand out. I really would like to know what turn motor they were using in the mod class.

I am needing some photos for the RevUP ONLINE! of this event to go along with a very comprehensive race report written by the Bowermans. Please, send to [email protected] if you have any you don't mind me putting in the newsletter?

Thanks!

Also, reading the Xtreme magazine writeup ...it was NOT grape soda we used for traction compound, it was actually Soda Syrup mixed with water, different amounts of mixture and application as we saw needed to be layed down day by day.

Oh I wasn't directing that clarification at you ...I know you didn't write the article ...just wanted to let everyone else who might be interested know, hate to see someone go and buy all that grape soda expecting the same traction we have out at SWR

LOL.. I know.... I find it somewhat satisfying that others find "irregularities" in the articles as well.. I thought I was just picky.

Ah I see ...well it's kind of funny cause I remember telling the rc car action guy what we used for traction compound, but not the rc extreme guy ...there was a bunch of Grape Soda under the bleachers, that's what we "used to" use ...but the problem with the Grape Soda (or any other Soda we have tried) is when it starts to get hell-a hot, it get's slimy and greasy. He must have seen the Soda and assumed that's what we were using.

I guess I should just put on the cover "It should be syrup NOT grape soda?"

Seriously, with all the screwed up things with ROAR we have to say shit like that? Probably why I don't make any "corrections" is that it's some childish comment like this one a forum instead of a email explaining that something was wrong.
