Slapmaster - thanks for the setup!

Another question for everyone! Do any of you know if the Zen racing pivot for the new AE style will work? Looking at p/n ZENA118. Thanks!

I run the Associated pieces, including the chassis brace on my graphite car.
The body post holes are identical to the Roche. You need to run the short
side tubes. Drilled out the pin hole on the forward arms of the chassis
braces to accept a 3mm short screw so I can use the battery hold down
O ring. The battery is a couple of mm back from the Roche position.
The car works great. I think the Associated pivot is smoother
than the current Roche pivot. And there is no adjustment.

I run the stock set up on my alum chassis P12.

hey i have a question about the rear axle height adjusters.......i have the kit adjuster which says on it LW...i am using long wheel base......i thought i just have to add 1mm shims to adjust the height...but looking at the manual there seem to be multiple adjusters like .25, .50 and so on......my question is do i have to use those and not the shims ???? confused.....

thanks.

With the 17 car, the kit adjuster is the .50
Flipping that axle height adjust changes chassis height by 0.5mm

With the LW axle height adjuster, be careful, as having the LW at the back of the car, makes it a long wheel base and the changes the ride height
Have a look at the manual on page 5 it explains the setting better.

You could use spacers, but that will only allow you to lower the chassis only. I've never run it that way, only ever used the axle height adjusters.

Thanks. I looked at page 5. I find it easier adding shims to adjust ride height...

i am not sure if i understand the alum axle adjusters though. 0m, +0.25, +.50, +1.00, +1.25, +1.5.........if i increase in the alum axle adjuster does that make the ride height higher or lower ?

these aluminum axle adjusters remind me of the old plastic inserts i used to replace years ago...

If the tire size remains the same, Using a higher number axle adjuster will
lower the ride height.

I use the 0mm and use shims to set the ride height. As the tires wear, I remove
shims to keep the ride height constant. At our track, on black CRC carpet, 8 min
runs on Ulti X med rears wear about .2 - .3 mm (TQ in Chino, CA)

Hello everyone, I just got what i believe to be a 2016 p12 and had a few question. Does the 2017 servo brace work on the 2016 chassis? could anyone measure the distance between the chassis mounting holes on the brace? or can i just mount the servo on the chissis witht the two L brackets that only have a one hole on each side for the servo ear? Thank you for your help!

Perfect, didn't even think of that, and I already have the kingpin shims. Excellent!
