Roche Rapide P12 1/12 Competition Car Kit
#61
Got mine finished up this morning. Build went great, zero complaints. Xray front ride height spacers work perfectly on the xenon front end. Looking forward to getting it out for some laps.

Easy enough, thanks. I thought a slight forward angle was ok. Is straight across preferred?
#66
My links are just a hair off of straight across. They still slope towards the rear though.

You want the links on the servo ahead of the links on the steering blocks.

Thanks for the info. I've strived for perfectly straight in my other cars. Thought I'd give this a go. Apparently I misunderstood what I've read. I'm still very new to this and appreciate the info.

All fixed up. I ended switching to a kimbrough servo saver, shimming the servo 1mm forward and using TOP low profile ball studs and it's perfectly straight across now.
Thanks again for the help

I'd be curious to see if that balances left to right, with the servo and ESC on the same side I would definitely check it

It does with a 8 gram weight to the extreme right. The servo is temporary just so I can get the car out for practice, I have limited time to play. The chassis is only drilled to allow the JR servo mounted that way. I plan to use a different servo mounted to the right. Even with the 8 gram weight the car weighs 739 minus transponder that I haven't installed yet. I replaced all the stock screws with titanium/ aluminum where applicable.
I'll report back with final balance status and weight when I get the car truly finished. I may end up putting and older Orca 1S esc in it since they're a few grams lighter.

I ended up installing a Savox I forgot I had which I could mount on the right side. Balances perfectly now with no weights after some minor movement of other electronics. I installed the transponder and ended up at 735g ready to race. Can't wait to get it out now.
