See Homer's post for more info. Here's the relevant parts as it pertains to the track. I'd encourage all visitors to follow the local laws. We're in a shopping center with other businesses nearby, please be respectful of them and their customers.

Where am I allowed to consume retail marijuana?
Answer - Retail marijuana is intended for private, personal use. Such use is only legal in certain locations not open or accessible to the public. Marijuana may not be consumed openly or publicly.

Can I consume marijuana in public?
Answer - No, it is illegal to consume marijuana in public.

This includes but is not limited to areas accessible to the public such as transportation facilities, schools, amusement/sporting/music venues, parks, playgrounds, sidewalks and roads and outdoor and rooftop cafes. It is also illegal to smoke at indoor-but-public locations like bars, restaurants and common areas in buildings.

And please, so its clear, no one toke up in the facility. Some of us have VERY strict drug policies, and it could present an issue, even slight trace amounts are forbidden
thanks

Smoking is not allowed in the facility in general. Also keep in mind that most hotels also frown on that being done in their rooms. The link Homer pointed to should lay out what the law is.

Thank you for that clarification. Here in California, where it is not legal unless it's for medical use, people "toke" up in their cars at track{s} not caring that this is not only illegal, but that it could possibly get the business owners in trouble.

That's pretty much how it is in Denver too. Go to the off road track and you damn near get a contact high just walking through the parking lot lol.

Local law enforcement visits us frequently. Be smart, do the right thing, have a good time.

Can I buy a set of Jaco Blues the sunday before the race as I will be in town around 10am and then drive over to the track. I going to be out of town the next 2 weeks so buying some and having them ship will not work.

Thanks

We're actually having a small crisis locally because we ran out of tires and don't have any coming until MHIC. So there's a chance we won't have any to sell until the race.

No big race happens without at least one problem.

And it's no April Fools Day anymore so I don't think he's joking. No biggie, as long as we have some before the race starts.

So each entry gets 1 tire. It's up to each driver to negotiate with other drivers to get 3 more tires to use during their race.
