What is the size of the c clip for the spur/center pulley?

I am on the 419xr kit.

Tamiya #50380 (set with other e-clips)

Just make sure it doesn't block anything and seats correctly around the inner groove.

The rear diff. uses the aluminum cup/outdrive. Is there a replacement for it so I can use steel ones?

Why would you want to?

Just wanting to try something out.

Which car will handle better in small black carpet 419x w or 419xr? 419xr does not have aluminum chassis option.

The TA07 has steel ones that will fit.

Thanks. I'll try to look into that.

True but the XR has center stiffener options that can make the chassis incredibly stiff.

You can use the aluminium lower deck too with -XR. You only need the old -X motor mount, the old servo mount, the XWS upper/lower deck, the center post and some small parts:

- Tamiya #3450749 (Motor mount TRF419X) which you already have, when you come from a -X and using a -XR conversion kit.

- Tamiya #3450640 (Motor mount axle 4mm TRF419X) which you already have, when you come from -X and using a -XR conversion kit.

- Tamiya #9804778 (2pcs. E-Clip 3.2mm) which you already have, when you come from a -X and using a -XR conversion kit.

- Tamiya #9804777 (2pcs. M2.6 screws for axle) which you already have, when you come from a -X and using a -XR conversion kit.

- Tamiya #3450754 (Servo mount TRF419X) which you already have, when you come from a -X and using a -XR conversion kit.

- Tamiya #3450823 (Aluminium lower deck TRF419X WS)

- Tamiya #3404068 (Carbon upper deck 1.75mm TRF419X WS)

- Tamiya #3450751 (Center post TRF419X) which you already have, when you come from a -X and using a XR conversion kit.

There are so many variations possible now with all TRF419 versions...

The alloy chassis from the WS just fits on the XR. You do not have all of the lower attachments holes along the centre but they are for the centre link anyway

My experience is that XR is just a hair better overall. It is not huge difference - just more precise and predictable, I would say - refined. I use XR with ball cups stiffener (carpet and asphalt) but with WS top deck on asphalt.

The TA07 arms front & back is supposed to be the softest compared to 419 & 418?

That is what I read somewhere, I think. Anyone tried the TA07 arms on their 419? Does it fits 100%? How is the outcome?
