If I have to guess, less than 0.25 degrees difference. I dont think its tweak since I basically bought new everything...Chassis, arms, hubs, suspension mounts. Made sure everything was flat, seated everything correctly, gradually tightened each screw in a crisscross pattern...

I have easy access to Tamiya chassis ;)

They sell for about 560USD.

Contact Futaba Pro Shop.

Hi,
What is the rear to in you have the issue with?i have had similar issue with 2.5 toe in (E pivot)... rear hubs, bearings (outside) can make a little gap. Main issue for me was bearing...acer ceramic. Once it was worn (wheels had too much play in and out) had too much play and was not able to fix with shimming. New bearings and reset pivot fixed it. Not much “visible” issue noted at 2 and 3 rear to setting. Key to follow jills video, easy to make “screwing” mistake, a lot of times i play also with proper/change order to get proper setting...

Hope it helps.

Wow it's cheap. Full XR chassis kit for 560usd.... but since it's all in Japanese Language, i guess the shop doesn't accept international shipping?

Out of stock anyway..

I bought new bearings as well.

Right now it seems like the toe is as good as I can get it.

Pitch damper mod

Anyone tried this mod?

Any advantages expected? Parts are not expensive to do this mod.

My F104 X1 wants it's side damper back ;)

Marcika 04-08-2018 11:03 AM

Not yet, but thinking to try. Depends on how much free time I will have to test on asphalt. Idea is great, however I would prefer full oil version if possible instead of spring version. I am sure thercracer will post further test result ;). Torque link he developed for trf 419x works great for sure - in use ;) -, i bet it works well also.

possible

I'm not sure, if the RM01 pitch damper #54342 will fit between weight and upper deck, but if yes, then it would be an alternative.

I really doubt it would have any affect on handling.
