Hi Guys
May I know if anyone has tried using the Tamiya TRF419X Touring Car Large Diameter Short Spring Set (#42306) on the TRF419X car? The spring set consists of the following:
a. 1 pair of soft springs;
b. 1 pair of medium springs (which is the stock TRF419X's springs and please correct me if I'm wrong); and
c. 1 pair of hard springs.
May I know how do you find it as compared to XRay regular and 2.5-2.8 progressive springs?
Thank you.

Use blue one but shim it properly 0.2-0.3mm shims needed ( 4mm wide shim!dont use 3mm shims since it will scratch the rod) same size of shims used for center pulley!
Springs - xray or smj the top springs today imo. I will test them only....

This is what you want... These work much better then the blue o-rings.

When i built my car the according to the manual, the front right and rear left arms werent swinging smoothly. I had to take out a few of the thinner shims in order for it to operate smoothly. I replaced the shims as needed when things began to break in and developed play.
