RCJaz has them on pre-order for $460US and expected available date on 2016-07-06 https://www.rcjaz.com/tamiya-42301-1...-90073500.html

Are there any bad issues with the 1st TRF419? Thought I read somewhere that they are bad for leaking diffs? Any other issues? Mainly be using it for club racers around my area.

I don't see wether or not they have strengthened the c hubs on the new car, or at least made the fitting better so there is not so much unwanted movement .

Sorry for the late reply on the RC Racer front suspension holders.
My son has been using his for 4 months now, and they are still in perfect condition. They have 0 play (it are the white ones).
He actually took his car to a great 5th place in the Tonisport Onroad series, division West: http://brcnews.net/?p=12812
He was in a strong field with ETS A, B and C finalists.
I am really happy with these parts, that's all I can say about it!

Cheers,

David

Is there anyway to still get the lower shock towers? Thinking i am going to bring my 419 as close to an 419x as i can with the wide front end and the short shocks.

I just got my 419x, looking for a 17.5 blinky setup for medium grip asphalt track. Thank you!

So what is the consensus? Super low with Xray shocks or low with stock shocks and 20 mm springs? Right now i don't have any springs other than the kit red so its not like i am wasting springs. Mostly going to be running on carpet

I ordered mine it took 2 weeks from England to California they were a super High quality I used Xray short shocks and yokomo 20mm springs the car handle really well with the up grade it's a little spendy but it's cheaper then buying a 419x!
Stephen with Fiberlyte emailed me right back they were $32 shipped.

Cool Thanks. Thats what i am thinking as well. Not buying a new car anytime soon. Has anyone tried anything other than the X-ray shocks? almost all the majors are now running the same length shock now right? TQ (my new home track) carries ARC, Yokomo, Tamiya, VBC and X-ray so it seems i have a lot of choices.
