Really well. To me the car feels more nimble (probably due to a stiffer spring, running HPI's Silver) and rolls more naturally. The setup window feels larger. I don't have to try (or drive) as hard to make the same lap times and it is faster in mid to low grip. Even in high grip asphalt the car feels better, once again, to me.

I've not tested on carpet, nor will I if I can help it.

If anyone wants a setup PM me and I'll do my best to help out.

As would everyone else. But don't expect any info to be leaked prior to worlds or IIC.

Anyone know if this uses the same shocks as the 14?
Sorry if it's been answered previously...

We don't know as yet, I'm hoping they go back to the full length shock similar as ARC has done on it's 2015 model

Is there going to be any major changes or just small changes to the car?

Default brokin xray!

hi guys, to me it sounds like Jim is going shopping for the new xray in the next few weeks, welcome back!. i am though intrigued by the want of a lot of people for a return to regular length shocks, what is the benefit of either one? and does it really make a big difference? maybe i just do not know better.
cheers

I'm waiting patiently I would love to see better access to pinion and spur changes and that's it . Seen on FB where Xray purchased another chassis milling machine. Wonder how much $ will go up cause of that expense...lol

I went to long shocks on my '14(raceberry towers & T-shox). I run on a very bumpy track. The long shocks and change in center of gravity gave me feel I like. The car wasn't faster but it was more consistent over 6 minutes run for me. We have guys here that run the short socks and like them also. For me it just a tuning tool.

I'm sure there will be some very neat upgrades with the new kit.

Hi Ian, yes, "somewhat" patiently waiting to see the new car, but if it doesn't grab me, I will buy two ARC's
(but unlike previously, will hang onto my current old Xrays... just in case)

Greater volume of oil & longer springs (better progression as on real racing cars) makes the car more consistent, that's my preference

hi guys, everywhere i look at the moment around me people are buying ARC, i like you am impatiently waiting to see what happens with the next Xray but if it does not grab me, like you i wont pull the trigger but will instead keep thrashing my fleet of t4 13's, so Jim it looks like we have a lot in common, especially the getting older bit.
cheers
