killshot is still much lighter. my rpm killshot with 12.5 torque is about 160g. Killshot torque with 12.3 broad is 166g, if I remember right.

That's a bit of a porky motor. I guess it won't matter in some applications, but sometimes grams count. Thanks for weighing it!

The weight of the motor would actually help my situation, since I'd be able to remove some extra weight being used elsewhere to balance my chassis.

I'd really like to see this motor in action, and see if it lives up to the hype. Considering the buildup to its release, anything less than D3.5 performance levels would be a disappointment .

You are NOT going to see d35 performance from this motor. Just from the obvious reason.

I do know they passed the ROAR inspection lab but have to meet sales and availability requirements before its finalized. That should have been met last week but it may take ROAR a few days/weeks to finish it up.

Agreed. I've seen a D4 in action against the D3.5 and although I don't think it's far off it's certainly not at the d3.5 level. It's hard to compete with the non-so-legal motors.

On the bench and dyno its no better than the ORCA, R1 or Team Scream motors. It may be slightly better than a kill shot. But no where near the D35 on the dyno....especially under a load.
