How much timing are you putting into the X20?

[QUOTE=cplus;13371382]How much timing are you putting into the X20?

The X20 is different with the X12 using a dot on the insert. On the X20 they have a numbers, the highest timing is 37.5 is on flat position, that what I use for now.
You can go more by flipping the timing insert to the opposite way. To get more timing.

Yeah I've got a 13.5T X20. Running at 37.5 as well.

Being blinky I think that is pretty mild still.

Guys what spur and pinion are you using for stock ?
With a 2.5 internal, spur would have to be quite small ?

You need to use a thin spur gear, otherwise it will touched the motor mounting, for 17.5 you can use a 76/50 or 78/51 = FDR 3.8
That's what I have in my car.

That would be 48p?
What brand spurs and pinion do you use? I've never seen as high as 50t pinions?

I have crc pinions that I use for tc blinky racing that's way over 50.

Also check out panaracer at rsd, beamcat, crc, prs,

Referring to 64 pitch that is.

Is a 64p, if you can get RW brand at AU that is a perfect size of spur.
If you never seen a 50T pinion, I don't know what to say.
