Does anybody think that the V2 endbell will ever be ROAR legal? I run one at my track during club races and it's really fast but for a sactioned race out it goes and back on with the original stuff.

I doubt it, Corally, since the price of the endbell kit alone is as much or more as the price cap on an entire ROAR-legal stock motor(the price cap is $40US, I believe). Plus, they also tend to have rules about mixing & matching cans, endbells & arms(so if you have a Trinity Monster arm, it must be with a Monster can & endbell, can't even use one from a Binary, P2K 2, or Green Machine 3, they all MUST match).

gearing help
Hi all,
just doing a couple of stock events in the next couple of weeks, having focused on 19 and mod lately I have gotten out of the loop somewhat.
I am running an X Ray with the low ratio pulley set, motors are :
Fantom Monster based stock, and Binary based stock.
Tracks are mid sized, with a fair length straight, but also some tight stop start stuff.
Looking for recommendations for gear ratios, and any other useful pointers.
thank you all

I dont go much smaller than .272,when you go much lower than that(270 and lower)you can have problems,I also trim a little off the leading edge of the brushes.Stu,First off on a smaller size/mid size track a P2K2 or an Intgey Matrix works better than the binary does,For gearing on the monster i would be some where in the 7.15 to 7.25 range, the binary is a hi rpm motor and on a mid size track with some tight sections is not what this motor likes But.. i would run the trinity 4408nt brushes on it and red springs on the + and - ,gear it in the high 7's and run it a few laps and if it seems flat out of the turns go up.But on the type of track your running on i would get a P2K2 based motor.

I am running a Binary2 on a mid-sized flowing track. I run 767s, but wasn't getting much with red on + and green on - . I am going to try purple springs on both sides with the 767s, Which would be a better gearing? 7.83 or 7.48? (because of my pinions )
