Hah, that was the next body I was going to try. I did not like how the HPI Porsche 911 handled, even though it looked gorgeous.

I was looking at the mini cooper coupe and evo-x.

Doing final stuff on car. Gearing, I tried installing a 64p 80 spur with a 59 pinion. There is no way to fit this in. One the pinion is so big you can't tighten the motor screws, two the pinion hits the upper brace. I went back to stock 84 48p spur. The biggest I can get in there pinion wise is a 31 without it hitting the upper brace. Advice?

Wheel base from 210mm to 225mm

To make the Sabre 4wd from 210mm to 225mm how many spacers in front and how many in rear. When I start changing the rear the geometry changes on the cars suspension. Everything starts to slop back. Has anyone ran there car like this and am I doing this correctly?

Does anyone have a sway bar solution?

I'm thinking the closest car to this would be the Atomic V2.

Dan do you still have yours?

Dan 06-13-2014 04:43 PM

I have used the Atomic VM2 swaybars with some TOP hardware. I'll try to get some pics up this weekend.

The only mod I had to do was drill a new hole in the arm to mount the swaybar ball end. I don't have them on the car right now since our track is a bit bumpier.

Just for fun ;)

Haha, always wanted to run that body.

Raman 06-18-2014 09:55 AM

I did a rest run up and down the street with the Abarth body. I don't think the Abarth has ever travelled that fast or handled so well. Lol
