we have chosen a tire, and will be announcing it soon. you will be allowed 3 sets per class, one more set if you make the main. you cannot switch sets between classes.

5280 Raceway is excited to announce Gravity RC G-Spec as the rubber tire for all touring classes at the 2014 Mile High Indoor Championships. After extensive testing in close collaboration Gravity's Paul Lemieux, this tire was chosen due to its exceptional wear and grip characteristics, as well as a very true rim and familiar handling characteristics to spec tires used at previous large events.

If you would like to test prior to the race, tires will be available for purchase in the next few weeks directly from http://www.teamgravityrc.com. Tires used for racing at MHIC must be purchased at the event.

Gravity RC and 5280 Raceway are extremely excited about this partnership, and look forward to seeing everybody at the race in April!

If you have an IIC setup, I would put it on your car and start there at our race. Our track feels similar to IIC, and Paul's tires feel very much like the Jacos we ran all summer.

Keep in mind, we provide a LOT of access to the track for testing and tuning, so if you're concerned about finding a setup, you will get more opportunities to figure it out here than any other big race you ever attend.

I guess the cats out of the bag. I'm very Excited to have the Mile High race be the first major event to choise Team Gravity G-Spec tires. The tires will be mounted in the coming weeks. The first tires will be directly shipped to 5280 raceway. After that the tires will be available for sale threw Gravity RC dealers and at Teamgravityrc.com.
I will also be in attendance at the event to represent my sponsors and of course to provide any technical assistance
