Great news from the fourth and final round of the BRCA GT/F1 Nationals held at Chesterfield yesterday.
I managed to top every qualifying round to start pole with my WTF1. And had a tone-to-tone victory in the A-main to win by nearly a lap.
This is my first F1 National win, and makes a nice set with previous class National wins in World GT, 12th circuit and Touring Stock.
Congratulations to Kev Creaser for a fine run to third place to make it a 1-3 podium finish for CRC WTF-1s. We had two new WTF-1 racers in the main as well.
That result gives me second overall in the championship, with Kev finishing fourth overall.
It was a double CRC win yesterday as Rob Hall also won an exciting GT10 (the UK class name for World GT) A-main. Each of the four National rounds this season has been won by a CRC racer, and amazingly it was someone different each time!
Congratulations to Darren "Daz" Newton for winning the BRCA GT10 National series with his CRC, with second place going to Rob Hall.

If this has worked right, this will be a link to the YouTube video of the F1 A-final from the last UK National at the weekend.
This will give you a good feel for the pace and handling of our 1S and 13.5 blinky current rules.
My WTF-1 is the red car with white on the front wing. You'll spot it leading from pole, and keeping out of trouble.
Fran's fan club will spot her watching from the right hand side of the video, next to the wheel chair ramp!

Is the front train reliable? It's surely of the thinnest I've seen on the market...

The drive train in the front... The system linking the front wheels to the chassis.
Sorry english is not my mothertongue ^^

Drive train is what puts power to the wheels...your thinking of the front suspension arms.
The bottom carbon fiber arms are quite thick so while the upper arms look a bit thin they are plenty strong enough as most of the impact is absorbed by the lower arms.

Do the Ride F1 Big Bore Front Springs fit on this car?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Not sure - depends how wide those Ride springs are. The bottom e-clip could be made wider with a thin washer but it is the brass ball cup that would need to be measured to be sure.
If you have a width I can check.
My recommendation is to stick the the kit front spring. They have felt spot on both in big US and UK meetings, so no reason to change them.
