Here’s my winning car from the Halloween Classic this weekend. The new castor blocks are amazing, and the upgrades to the damper tubes and braces made for the easiest to drive car in the planet.

Regarding the 8.5i... so are the location points for the side links on the pod also pushed in a bit - hard to tell for sure from the pics? I prefer the inline battery arrangement for several reasons:
1) easier battery removal - this really matters if LiPo sacks are enforced!
2) you can mount a fan (offset inline)(https://photos.app.goo.gl/7KtlqrXSpuBbhxku2)
3) on dedicated inline chassis there would be less chassis scrub - potentially
4) looks cool

Yes they come in just a bit.

No more or less chassis scrub. I can not say that has ever really been a issue for me.

FAN ????? Why I have never had the need for a fan. I guess if you want one you can find some room for it, I usually run a rec pack so it defiantly could take take up that space.

Hi Guys,

1st off....Big congrats to Steve for his Halloween win in an incredibly stacked class! Hand out motors really put everyone on an even playing field. Steve and his 8.5 were the cream of the crop.

I will have parts and pictures up within 2 days. Thank you for being patient.

Off to Trick or Treat with the kids.

Happy Halloween!

Take care.-Bruce

I received an email from Bruce that the car comes with the new school front end in the release photo, and mod parts will be available for the conversion. I ordered the Rev 8.5 from the rev8 order page and was told the car is ready for shipping now, and optional front end parts will be available very soon.

Be nice if there was a REV 8 to REV 8.5 conversion kit.
