Does Ghost have the same quality plastic as D06?
D06 plastic is very durable like Xray plastic.

Generally speaking, the body posts will break with a pretty good frontal impact when using the lightweight bumper. They are typically the sort of impacts that move the front bumper support out of position, which from what I have seen are always hard crashes. If you haven't already, you may want to pick up the hard bumper for your car.

I do not know how long you have owned your car, but items such as ball cups are wear and tear items and should be replaced from time to time. If you change to a new ball cup and are still having issues, then you may just have a bad pack of cups (Very rare).

Yes I tap pipes and yes there is frontal impacts but there is a difference in material that Id like to get sorted out. My cups are fine and tight. its the hardware that threads into plastic;and differences in plastic color which leads me to beleave that there is a difference in material strenght / flex. Im not complaining car is right on, just working out small issue that I think need addressed. Simple issues and failures that Ive not had with other cars. Things that I thought might have been troublesome have not. I like this car very well. I just dont have more of a local support as Im the only one running VBC. Have to figure out on my own, along with deciphering on the threads. Wish I had more local parts when needed but I make do with Timezone being on the other side of the country or APS. Theve been fantastic on getting me what I need.

Default question about suspension mounts

Hi, i'm interested in getting the new wildfire and i wanted to get it with additional suspension mounts for tuning but i wasn't sure what the mount numbers correlated to. can someone enlighten me? Also, which ones would you recommend getting for asphalt racing?

Thanks,

Oliver

Our Website explains the different suspension mounts and we also have a chart that illustrates how the car's width is affected with the various mounts. The suspension mounts can be used to modify the car's track width, arm sweep and toe-in.

Assuming you would be using stock center suspension mounts, for rear toe-in, E10 is 1°, E15 is 1.5°, E20 is 2° degrees of toe-in and so on. If using the F blocks, F05 and F10 up front with stock center suspension mounts, you will create arm sweep.

We also have some really good asphalt setups in our Support section that will really get you up and racing at the top quickly.

Why does front steering blocks use 5x10x3 bearings on the inside instead of more common 5x10x4 like other touring cars? Will 5x10x4 work?

actually most of the new cars that run dual joints in the front run 5x10x3, and that is why

older cars or cars that run the old style single joint in front run 5x10x4

5x10x4 wont work if you stick with the stock dual joints up front

Ed it's driven by the length of the axle. back in the day when I put ECS's on my Photon EX if I used Hudy 50mm you could run a 4mm bearing on the inside. trying to save money I tried the Arrowmax style from the Tamiya 417 it required the use of a 3mm bearing on the inside, the only difference was the distance from the inside of the Axel to where the hole goes through for the Hex Pin.

I believe that there are 168 teeth on the front belt and 64 on the rear.
