TCS GT1 carpet setup from this past weekend at Middle River Hobbies. 418 definitely works better in slower classes.

Used a Tamiya 96T (.4 Tamiya) spur (from my TRF101) on my TRF418. No issues with a regular 64 pitch pinion. Another local racer did the same and had no issues.

A metric/imperial mesh will never be as silent hence I conclude something is not quite as perfect as it should be. Either way, I don't sell pinions or gears. |

What does the "Full" means on the tires? You don't show you have added extra weight, but the setup sheet shows a total weight of 1442g. Mine with a 7000mah GensAce, Mazdaspeed6 body weighs 1330g. Need to add 20g ow weight to reach the 1350g minimum weight requirement. Everything else is box stock, no titanium screws etc. Is it your lipo that makes all that weight? Do you run with or without the single screw in the top deck near the motor? |

The manual instructs to add grease on e.g. the shaft blades.
I have replaced the front shaft spool cups with a type so I don't need blades in the front. I add a little AW grease there also, because it's metal against metal. Do you all use grease in these places, or can I stop using it if I accept some extra wear, and replace more often. Will I gain less friction in the drive train if I don't use the sticky AW grease? Was talking to some Xray drivers (T4'15) and they did not use it. |
Does anyone know the part number for the front cups so i can stop running blades? Also does it take any modding or just fits perfect?
