I drive outdoor on a technical track, the handling is good, .. but my 418 overturns as soon as I go on the curbs, what would you suggest? I've tried many things already

Well after all is said and done at the roar on road nationals my Tamiya took home 2nd place. Car got much better and a bit more free making it easier to drive. Still needs something as it wasn't perfect but good enough for 2nd. Sadly we only ran 2 mains out of 3 due to rain but it is what it is. Tamiya on the podium :)
If anybody would like my setup I will be posting it to petitrc probably tomorrow. |

Try schumacher greens...
They are the same as the HPI silvers. |

http://250kb.de/u/140803/p/7APZHWNxQCkj.png You may or may not have to make oil changes to compensate for reduction in damping. |

They're not the same. They may have the same dimensions but the feel is 180 opposite. Trust me
I had a hunch about that:sneaky: Grats on your podium finish :) btw, are old silvers supposed to feel softer than the ride reds? anyone? |
When using Tamiya 42245 Aluminium body adjuster mount do you use the kit body clips as they seem to not want to fit at all :(

I would try 400 or 450 oil in the rear shocks and raise the rear roll center.

To me the hpi silvers are a more consistent pairing usually. Also even though the rates are nearly identical I find that the reds have a more progressive feel and I actually prefer them on a more bumpy track. Sometimes when switching to rides the car has more bite on power but tire wear is very heavy.

It remains to be seen how durable they are, but the Yeah Racing c-hubs with the bearings in them (sold separately) are neat. Certainly the smoothest action and least play I've seen.

Admist all this banter about durability. ..
i would like to give an update from nationals. I'm running my car in 17.5 and am still trying a lot of things after the second round. As of now I'm in 5th but should be 3rd (bad blowout in the second round). I have the entire samix conversion on and is much better even in stock for those of u wondering if it would work in stock. The car is very consistent across the 6 minutes. Trying to get the car to run faster upfront currently. Hopefully after tomorrow I can report back and say that I'm in the top 3 where I feel like me and the car of capable of being. The car drives good and handles great. Will report back later and if I can get the car better I will post my setup if somebody wants it |
