This kit looks like the same layout as the yokomo dpm ssg drift car.
If they were to use the same design..the batery clearance might be an issue for thosr runnin on 6500 mah or higher..

Can anyone confirm the TB04 front shock tower is lower than the TB03? I assume with the shocks being shorter this would be the case.

It is. How much, I can't say. I ordered one from Japan for my TB03, when it gets here I'll post back.

yes... IFS bodies will fit (i.e. Corolla Axio) while still using stand-up shocks.

anybody know if the TB03 spool will fit? the hybrid FOW/Spool for the TBO4 looks too heavy...

Thanks - that's exactly why I bought it.

The spool will fit side to side, but it will require a different gear. Tb04 is 40 teeth, tb03 is 39.

Here is an image of the shock tower, users can put their bets in as to how low it is compared to the TB-03 stand up one:

And so this isn't a total hyjack....I bought one to mess around with. What's the worst that could happen?

Default Here's my chassis done.

I've just finished the chassis, just the electronics to go... but it's 1am... time for bed now.

I've replaced as many of the plus-screws with hex screws as I could, and I've used the clamp-style wheel hexes... But other than that, it's all as-is with the PRO kit (oh, and I've installed the one-way option as a spool).

If and when people find out if you will be able to reach a suitable FDR for 17.5 or 13.5 Blinky classes please post for your findings. From reading earlier posts I believe that was a pending issue people were interested in knowing.
