That's all I have for now, I had to get back to work on some web stuff for Xtreme.
Some more quick news bytes:
- Matt Francis and Brian Kinwald were using brand new M11 radios, Kinwald had the Novak synth module in his and it worked fine. I asked Matt about the Spektrum and he says that there is already a working Spektrum module for the radio, and he was planning to run it but couldn't get ahold of it in time.
- There are quite a few drivers using Spektrum systems.
- Losi drivers are using the new machined aluminum battery tray with the newer, larger cells in Invite, with no problems.
- The Kysoho car is really something else. Difficult to describe. It uses a saddle pack, with the battery in the center line and pushed back towards the rear of the car. The motor is center mounted (just like the Losi) towards the front. The spur gear is raised like the old Xray, driving long differentials with housings similar to the Losi car. The arms are short, but not as short as the Losi. The servo drives a pilot shaft all the way out to just before the bumper, and the steering rods connect directly to the knuckles (this part looks extremely odd). Lots of other little things, overall it looks good and both Paul and Josh seemed fast, although it's too early to say that for sure. The car is a VERY rough prototype, the plastics vary from piece to piece and the bulkheads are extremely rough.
- A few Tamiya drivers were using the DJ suspension.
That's all I can think of for now, I'll have more news as soon as it's fit to print.

I don't have practice times. Maybe Doug @ RCSP and Brandon @ Paradigm will have some with their Live Scoring app, they are attempting to steal internet access as we speak.
Four rounds of practice today, with two complete, two yet to come.

Brandon- Your RC Live site is not sending out activation codes. I've tried 5 times over 2 days without success.

I am now sitting on hundreds of DVDs from last year's race. They look pretty good, some of the camera work is crappy (since we had no idea what we were doing at the time) but overall it's pretty entertaining.
This year, Fred hooked us up with a camera tower and a better spot, so this year's production should look much more professional. For those who can't be here, this is one of the best races anywhere to watch...instead of boring qualifying, you get 32 rounds of heads up racing from the best drivers anywhere.
The final practice round is on the track now. I will have more photos to post tomorrow around midday.
