Though i don't frequent SoCal very often...I would like to try F201's there...

We get a micro class there once a month...maybe we should try and start a similar schedule for F201... (possibly the same weekend as the micros ??)

Hey Gary,
I route my motor wires through the gaunlet, itlooks alot cleaner tht way. If you use 14 gauge wire you should be fine. If ya need a reference I'll email some pics of my car to ya later tonite, with the new arms .

I am using 14ga wire, and it still wanted to prop up and hit the drive cup. I ended up going up and over the shocks for the time being, but the esc I am using now will actually be getting replaced soon anyways.

Hi Guys,

The sacraligious souls hosting an interstate championship this weekend are allowing the F201 category to run foam touring car tyres. Does anyone have setups or experience in that? the surface is an industrial carpet, as posted earlier.

i use 12 ga wire and run under the shaft, no problems, you have to make the wire just short enough to fit and solder in on so it goes straight down from the solder tab on the motor, this forces the wire down and away from the shaft, it is also tcs legal now to make holes in the inner bulkhead that separates the two halves of the chassis so more cooling air in allowed in that way.

We have to use foams running indoor in Md so here is the quick and dirty...
I like ennenti's 26 MM in front. shore 45 and 30MM in rear, 40 shore. No sauce added...
My son likes the janco on his F1 40 front and 30 rear...

Hey Niel,
The reinforced arms worked out great this past weekend. As far as a performance gain, I would say there really isn't one, but what you do gain is some confidence in the car. No more fear of having a broken arms from contact or a hard shunt. After some impressive tumbles, Rod and I tangling up down the straight and coming into turun one on to the Ess, going clockwise. The only part I managed to break was a rear upright, other than that the car was fine. I would now expect more aggressive driving out there with these new arms. For TCS racers another must have.

Really? No performance gain? How about a performance loss? There has to be a difference from the stock units. Hmmmmm, now I can't wait to try them out.

One thing I notice is the slop, but that's kinda expected at the suspension mounts.
