F201

I am curious where everyone gets their decals for the different liveries now that the AMS sets are no longer available?

After seeing those cool F201 at TCS Nat, I'm itchy to get one for myself.
I'm confused with which one to get and what hopup are really needed.
I notice that there are a regular F201 and a Tuned Version.
The Tuned Version is almost double the price. From the list of extra goodies, I think only the alloy motor mount is useful. Am I right?
If I get the regular version, what hopups do I need? I don't need alloy parts if it doesn't do anything other than the cool factor....

I would also say that the alum rear brace and alum rocker arms are good hopups. Those plus the alum motor mount will set you back around $110, so the tuned kit is a pretty good deal considering you also get universals and other goodies.. You should get the lightweight diff ourdrives for either kit, though. Neither comes with them.

The inportant hop-up to get are:
Lightweight diffs (not included in tuned kit)
better diff balls (ceramic or carbide, not included in tuned kit)
front universals
Aluminum motor mount
Aluminum motor guard
new lower suspension arms
turnbuckles
2 spring kits
fr & re shock piston sets
upgrade prop shafts ( not included in tuned kit )
The hop-ups below are nice to have but not important and do come in the tuned kit
aluminum rocker arms
aluminum shock bodies ( smoother than plastic but leak )
rear universals
lightweight counter gears
When in comes to the body regardless of the livery you want to run, stick with a Ferrari or Type A body, the Williams front wing creates too much front downforce at high speed and screws up the balance of the car.

GM V3R- I use one in mine, small and very reliable, handles motors down to 18T. $59 from Horizon.
GM V6R- I've had one for about 3 years, very reliable it handles motors down to 12t, 10t if you use the option heat sink. $79 from Horizon
Hitec HFX- I just got one, haven't used it yet, but I have heard a lot of good things about it (that's why I bought it) handles motors down to 10t. $58 from Horizon.
.Neil's Da Man , Thanks for the setup, when you offered your setup I figured it was a standard setup sheet, not a whole setup breakdown, awesome!! Thanks for sharing the knowledge dude.
