Do they make a low profile type setup or is there any maker's towers that fit to lower the profile to the chassis.
You can use the big bore shocks with either Advance or 2K18 shock towers or cut down stock towers.

I did a how to couple pages back, ur cutting off the lower tabs and making a deeper notch for the pulley now that it sits lower, you are mounting it with 2 screws just like the 2K18

Had some fun this weekend racing both days at MINNREG, saturday oval and road on sunday, raced vta both days, had 2 cars for me and a friend ... took some time to check out new goodies

R12 servos from PowerHD are hands down the best budget servos I have used under $50, dead on, zero play & super smooth compared to the servos I have been using from hobbyking. Comes with a short black wire and runs on 6-8.4V
PowerHD R12 Servo

Some new parts from 3racing I tried are the aluminum axles and axle pin holders for the swing shafts, the alu axles save rotating weight so in they went ... choose the 42mm to save some extra weight over the 44mm, fit just fine. The axle pin holders allow you to remove the set screw that hold the pin in place allowing everything to float for less wear and resistance ... a smother cv joint

Ok guys.. I've got a setup question for you. If you were racing USGT and VTA going from a loose asphalt track to a carpet track, what are the major changes you'd make. My thoughts going to carpet is drop the ride height for carpet, increase rear shock angle... For you Sakura Nu runners, IE Steve, what would be your base setup change suggestions for carpet and loose asphalt?

I'd suggest Stiffer Swaybars,
Shocks something in the area 37.5wt Stiffer springs, too
Diff should get an Update (7k maybe?)

I think then you are set

Had a fun weekend racing VTS race #4 followed by monday night at quaker, xi's were on point without any problems. Looks like my vta is due for a rebuild soon, some parts are starting to show some wear ... not bad for just over a year of weekly asphalt racing

I don't believe they do. I think I've tried them on my NU back when I first built it.

If I remember correctly, the holes in the chassis are a little off from the ultimate. I can get a measurement if needed over the weekend. (my cars are at the track)

The inner blocks fit both XI and Ultimate, the Outer blocks are XI specific and do not cross over from the Ultimate/Advance kits.

The holes are a little off between all the 3racing kits for the bulkheads, the outer suspension mounts on the XI kits use 2 screws, Ultimate and Advance use only one.
