Is there a preferred servo horn out there other than the stock plastic one? I ran the car on carpet for the very first time (USVTA oval racing) and it was dialed missed TQ by .04 and thanks to a lapped car, I finished 2nd. However, during practice I hammered another car as he slid out going into turn 1 and the servo horn skipped and stripped a bit. I definitely need to get something more robust. Ideas? I know there are aluminum options but do those come with some sort of "saver"? Thanks in advance.

Finally had time to run the car for the first time. Only one problem.. I've never run outside on asphalt. I wanted to try the mid motor conversion first. This car was amazing right from the start! I did make some small changes every run and the car got faster and easier to drive. Better than my Xray T4 first time out as well! Cant wait to start the racing season!

The only way to adjust that is the 2 outside holes on the carbon steering arm.

Scott that Mi5 sure looked good in VTA sure made for some close racing . We really like the USVTA rules . Have you tried that car in TC 17.5 yet ? If you have what's your thoughts ?Also how is the parts support? Thanks
Paul

would it be safe to use the alloy screws in the rear to prevent the screws from pulling through???

Running Martin's standard setup on asphalt and the car is amazing on the sweepers and on the straights. Only thing is I am looking for just little more steering on the tight sections of the infield without changing the high speed handling. Any suggestions on what I should try?

Using a plastic horn saves ur expensive servo
So u get all the advantage of not running a servo saver but still stops ur servo braking the internal gears , u can get a alloy one but if u make something stronger something else will brake

Hey Corey,

Found that I would need a little more steering out of the corners last time I ran at Ottawa. Was thinking to try 6° caster to see how it goes.

its a carbon braces only on the rear arms and they go from the top of the wishbone ball studs linking the front ballstuds together and rear ballstuds together (guessing use a longer screw so it pops out the top then u can use a nut to hold the brace on )
