Everything you need comes with the gen 2 to adapt it to the hotwire.

Uh, well it's "new" but yeah that's not a speedo!

I'm sure Tower CS will be more than happy to help you sort that out.

Hello Randy if you remember what you told me in Vegas

“The new Tekin will be something you have never see before”

As I have more or less a photographic memory sow be careful what you tell me

Not sure if this is what we will see but this is my wish list:

NO External SWITCH
NO External capacitor
NO PC need to adjust feel and brake and boost, Like LRP
Motor Limit Brushless 3.5T

Specifications: for 12 scale battery inline, Xray, AE
Dimensions 40 x 20 x 15mm
Weight (without wires) 25g
B.E.C. 3.0-6.0V adjustable
NO External SWITCH
NO External capacitor
NO PC need to adjust feel and brake and boost, Like LRP

Got to see the RS Gen2 in action last night in 1/12th scale. The voltage read out in the telemetry seemed especially interesting

I really like Viper's ProGauge. You get an easy-to-use interface, but it's small so it fits easily in the pit box, similar price to the hotwire interface, doesn't require a laptop in a crowded pit, and can do other useful things like check battery voltage and test servos.

That said, I'd love to see Tekin release a Windows RT version of hotwire so I can run it on my Surface. But I don't see myself buying another Tekin until they have a fully legit mod ESC available (meaning it comes out of the box with proper capacity, cooling, and feel, to deal with a 4.0-4.5 motor). The two Tekins I already have are still working great for the slower classes.
