BK run wide on the first turn at the Nats, i will take Besercoe out.

question. I have been playing with different Droop on the rear on the 4.1. What do other people run as a base set-up. Do you find that with little droop (like 3mm) the droop screws dont even hit the chassis. This is with the rear Anti Squat up.

G'day peoples,

I have posted my current setup on my site:
Corally C4.1 Setup

Coxy do you mean with a lot of droop? If you set about 3mm then the screws with definitely hit the chassis.....

Seems as though Corally will be showing the new prototype Corally car at the Chicago Hobby Fair.

No release date set yet.

Cookie: what are your reasons and or thoughts for running the Tamiya shocks on your car? Did you have a particular dislike of the serpent shocks or are you just tinkering?

Mainly tinkering, but I was getting sick of the adjustable pistons as they would wear and readjust themselves!
Also the shaft would break in a decent hit. No real reason though!

Just back from the Indonesia Reedy Race where I came fourth behing Surikarn, Teddy (local) and Abbott.
We had a great weekend there and were well looked after.

:-)

Wow that's great Cookie, good on ya champ.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with the shocks. Weak and hard to build. I have found that if you just put a dab of Super Clue on the tip of the shaft it glues the top piston to the shaft and it never re adjusts without you doing it yourself. e careful you dont put too much on as it can go down the piston holes.

As of a few weeks ago the plan has been to show the new T/C at the Chicago Model Show in the U.S. This could still be in question. If it is shown it would most likley be a while before it hits the market. As with all Corally products they must be perfect before they are released. I believe that waiting is a good thing. "Good things come to those who wait" The show is a little over a week away. I may have more details next week. If it is there I will give you guys all of the details that can be released!!!!!!! I think that this car has been the best kept secret in R/C!!!!! The others should be scared!!!!

We will wait and see.......... tick, tick, tick

I have been told that the car is almost production ready. There was some parts from sub manufacturers that was not fully in production. But it was planned to hit the market this autum.

The rumours is that the Ahonemi brothers have done most of the development!

Otherwise don't knwo sorry.

Tourer seems to be a no go for Chicago fair :-(
Release is currently proposed to be late Dec or Jan, apparently.

This seems to be what i heard form Corally as well...Yoko's words were "We do our best and try to release it at the end of this year at the latest"
