Yeppie he was. I was talking to him about it on the other thread. Those results are typical Sydney results. They seem so different to results here in Vic. I guess its a domination by Sydney importers. Like a whoile different world

In Vic in the top 10, every brand of car is represented. TC3, Corally, Schumacher, Losi, HPI, Yokomo. Its just interesting to see

BTW: The NSW onroad club announced yesterday that they will now allow electric racing on their track (Helles Park) on the 2nd Sunday, every 2nd month. If alot of people turn up to the first meeting (which will happen), they will hold electric club days every month.

This is good news, us NSW/Sydney guys will finally have a proper track to drive on, it's a big track, and calls for big motors and batts. This may help us NSW guys work out how to beat the VICS.

Sorry about that Cookie. Sometimes I don't exactly type what I'm thinking. My hands seem to get a mind of their own.

I am personally disapointed that you guys let a plastic pig win the meeting, in a field of thoroughbreds no less.

I raced buggies today...... I am incredibly bad at it too!

Great fun though! Practicing for our Nats that are on in Canberra on the Easter weekend, should be a great event, heard that there's a lot of people meant to be racing.....even if it is dirt.......

Cookie: Earlier this winter, I ran offroad for the first time in about 8 years. And it was the first time that I had run buggy and not truck. To say I struggled would be a terrible understatement!

I think I'll stick with onroad or at least run trucks offroad.

Anyone heard any kind of news on the new Corally car?

I reckon 2WD buggies and 1/12th scale are just the best driving practice though!

I haven't heard anything about the new car from Corally except that they planning on having it ready later this year. Fair enough too after the X-Ray debacle last time!

I've been racing 2wd buggies every Wednesday night for the past 8mths (or more) and i'm sure my driving has improved, with more precision and quicker reactions. The air time is good for fun!
