Couple of questions for clarification. What time do the doors open on Sunday? Are there any reserved pit spaces left? How deep and wide is a pit space. Will there be any support races on Sunday?

I apologize if these have been answered. I just had a few guys ask me from our track.

Thanks,
Phil

9 am seems to be the norm. Pit spots always seem to be available, at least the first two rounds basically first come first serve..24x36 perhaps. Hope that helps u out.

Ok, who ordered the #&!@*$+ blizzard! I left just after 5pm and there was about 4-6 inches of snow in Urbana. When I turned onto 57 I started counting cars in the ditch. I made it to 34, and one 18-Wheeler. From Urbana to Kankekee it was not a fun drive. North of that it changed to more tolerable drive. I do hope everyone made it home safe.

What a great weekend and great day of racing. I must say, pit strategy is fun! Next time Dish, next time.

Snowy.

I counted 19 cars/suvs and 3 semis in the ditch along rte 74 between Urbana and Downs (10 miles SE of Bloomington). I made it home by 7:10.

Any results for the weekend? With the blizzard, it'll probably take Brad a day or two to get home with as far as he's got to go!

Had tons of fun racing at Hot Slots today. The F1 ladies had a blast also in their UF1 debut. Great job Hot slots, their staff and racers. Everyone managed to move the day along quickly and smoothly with consideration for the nasty weather. The snow certainly made for an interesting trip home. We also counted over 40 Cars/Suvs and an 18 wheeler between Urbana and Kankakee. Hope everyone made it home safe

Thanks again

Just rolled in from the race, roads were bad up till just south of Chicago the rest of the trip was pretty uneventful.
I will get the points figured out and posted in the morning.
Thanks to all who made the trek to HotSlots and to all the locals who made the event successful. UF1 is growing, so far we have had 42 different participants at the 1st three races, and I hope to see a few more at the finale in two weeks.

Weather sponsored by the Florida department of tourism. Hope everyone got home safe. I had a blast in my first UF1 race even with all the mechanical gremlins. I had a bad outer bearing in my diff. When loaded it would click and grind. I found the thrust bearing when I got home, so I'm going to put it in as someone suggested.

Yeah 57 looked like the aftermath of the big one at Daytona. You know it's bad when the wreckers are in the ditch as well, I think there were at least 2. Once we got near Chi-town it was snowing but not sticking, Michigan was bone dry!!!

Good to hear all the out of towners made it home safe. I managed to make it to my house ( 2mins from the track ) and got stuck on my street twice! Had to dig out the wifes car first and then clear the driveway before I could park my own car. Today is more of the same around here, took me 35 mins to get to work and it's only 7 mi away.

Thanks to everyone for coming out this weekend. I had a great time and I was glad to hear people were having fun even with the super competitive atmosphere.

Now if we can just figure out how Ted got so fast!
