Hi Guys,
I'm looking at purchasing a TF-5 SD for racing rubber/carpet with either a 17.5 or a 10.5 for enduro racing. Are there any known trouble areas or things I should be looking out for when building it? Does it torque steer at all with a 10.5?
Thanks in advance people!

I've got the SD, actually just ran it yesterday in Vintage. With a 10.5 it will probably torque steer a little bit. I kinda notice it when I run 13.5, but I just set the servo trim a little bit to counter act it.
I've never had any specific problems with the SD. I actually got rid of my Stallion in favor of the SD.

If you really want a shaft drive car it will be a good car. The only thing I've noticed is that it is flexible. At the Novak with really high traction it handled good, but it was just too tight and slowed down in corners. Any other track with medium traction it always handled good. If you do get the car pm me and I'll send you my setups for rubber tire on carpet. I have a Very high traction and a medium one.

HI guys, does anyone know what will work in place of the normal ally diff cups - TFW001? I need ASAP
Will an Xray/Tamiya one work?

Diff cups
For the Shaft Drive I have Tamiya Blue Alloy ones or the aftermarket delrin, apparently Tamiya TB seems to fit, but they are slightly shorter and I have the Tamiya UJ's to go with them.
Hope this helps, spares are fairly easy to get from HK for the Stallion the Original KRS parts are quite expensive but do work well.

Question for you on road guys.
Do any of you know the actual length of the red shaft? I want to run my Kyosho off road cars with all red, but need to know if the Stallion one will work.
Any help would be great.
Oh also if you know the PN for the red aluminum shiims in 1, 2 and 3mm?
