The last race with my first TA05R was at TCS against a full A-main of TRF419s. I was the only tub chassis in the 5th spot. This chassis now pictured has all new electronics.

Thanks everyone for the "Likes"~!
Nice! Yeah pretty sure I saw that 414 in another thread, that thing is awesome man.

Thank you. Aluminum rear bulkheads are hard to come by but for some reason I ended up with three sets.

Nice! I'm a sucker for carbon and aluminum parts and a neat set up myself. I'm more of a builder and basher than a serious racer. I enjoy the build more and looking at the kit, seeing them run nicely than to see the destruction at the track.

What took many, many hours of build will end up destroyed in milliseconds.

Been wrenching on this all summer trolling forums and ebay buying parts here and there, still a work in progress, only a few more things I wanna get for it. This was my first TC I got in my early 20's so I'm quite fond of it and will always have a soft spot for it and figured Id show it some love! Since i couldn't back then. Still remember building it with the phillips! Talk about ouch! Below is a list of all the parts I bought only cause i spent so damn much I want someone to see it LOL and to help justify it to myself. All the electronics are spares I had laying around, expect for the esc picked that up here super cheap. Still gotta mess with the wiring as well just kinda threw everything in there.

Tamiya (#54249) 3X32mm Alum. Turnbuckle Shaft x5
Tamiya (#54089) TB-03 Carbon Bumper Support
Tamiya 5mm Stabilizer End Adjuster
Tamiya (#53917) 2.6mm Tit. Coated Suspension Shaft Set
tamiya Aluminum Body Adjuster Mount
Tamiya (#54091) TB-03 Servo Stay L
Tamiya (#54090) TB-03 Servo Stay R
Tamiya 54172 TA05 ver.II Separate Suspension Mounts a/xa x2
Tamiya 54072 Aluminum Suspension Mount (1D)
Tamiya 53851 46mm Titanium Coated Suspension
TB-03 ALUMINUM RACING STEERING SET (54095)
Tamiya 42216 Double Cardan Joint Shaft (44mm)
5x8mm Alum Ball Connector - Hex Head
5mm Aluminum Short Ball Nut - Blue 10pcs
5mm Reinforced Adjusters Open Face (Long/8pcs) x2
All brand new carbon reinforced parts expect the rear uprights. Gonna go with the aluminum one.

My other two TA05 aluminum bulkheads mounted on my TA05 VDF. I want to try the TA05 VDF as a FWD for the fun of it.

Toyed with the idea of picking a vdf from tamiya usa. Think they were like 220 or something. I'm trying to track some bulk heads down my self atm, but torn between those or parts for my EX-05 and getting that thing pretty lol. God i think i have a problem...lol

Looking for a needle in a haystack. Hoping someone here has some old parts laying around. I am looking for the aluminum bulkheads for the TA05, any color. I am not looking for the IFS version. I am looking for the original car bulkheads.

If anyone has a pair, even if they are the 3-racing ones please PM me.

Thank you,

There is a seller on ebay selling 3Racing aluminum bulkhead (I think it's just one though). Or if you like GOLD, there is a seller selling a whole car with the OEM bulkhead for $249 with free shipping

Guys I got a great basic Roller off of SteveM. Wanted to know if the 3racing vs the Tamiya Gear Diff, is there a big difference, or should I just stick with the Tamiya one. It will be an Asphalt car.

Thanks

FWIW......I always ran with the stock ball diff in the rear and up front I replaced the balls in the stock diff with the Tamiya Hop-Up Options 3x3mm Bushings for Ball Differential (12pcs) part number 54424. These tiny plastic bushings allow you to lock down the front diff to make a spool, or adjusted for a limited slip diff. Less expensive than buying the full option solid front spool.

Spec-R also sell a gear diff for the TA-05 but I have no experience with these or the ones from 3Racing.

Thanks SteveM for the heads up, I did not know about the Spec-R gear diff for the TA05, I ran one back when I had an FF03. may check that out too. I believe with v2 they changed to a 12 ball diff so I will look into that as well.

Thanks again.

Looking for info on some older Tamiya parts. Does anyone have a set of the 51104 arms? I am looking for the center to center distance of the inner and outer pins.

Thanks in advance.
