Will have to pull out the center spur and check everything........Ran one 4000Mah battery pack thru it...... But when I put in the next pack the clicking started......Really hope it's not my motor, but just in case I got the 7.5 motor......I hate to have to go home early because of problems......Really dont need the extra power of the 7.5 but the guy gave me such a good deal.

Think I will break the car down saturday morning when I have plenty of time and check everything over thoroughly..........This car really has been running very good up till now........I must admit......I really didn't expect this much from this car.......For a low budget car I give the TA05 and A+.......Really I could just be lucky but the other cars(TC5....Xrays..ect)seem to break to easy when we do open class balls to the wall racing.......But like I say I could just be lucky.
Price dropped!
I posted this in my local 'for sale' thread but wanted to let you guys know as well.
I have a barely used TA05 for sale...$60.00.No body, noelectronics, two sets of tires. I bought it with the idea of running carpet but dirt is where I have the most fun. Make it a parts car or a VTA...it's cheap enough to have as an extra.
Thanks guys...PM me if you are interested...I can email you some photos.
I can ship it to the lower 48 UPS ground for $5.00.

So, I want to know what the difference is between my car and a TA05.
I see some TA04 arms on it, a black belt setup, and standard hardware. What else? I bought a couple of Ta05 parts for strength but I'd like to know more about the differences before I sift thru a pdf file on tamiya USA . . . I mean they both look the same but not

The 1st gen TA05 are great. The original arms etc make the car stronger. They were used on the early TRF 415 and the earlier TRF 414.
TA05 for sale
Sale is pending on TA05..waiting on paypal.

New Bumper
A new front limited edition bumper is now available at tamiya usa.
I typed in tamiya 51073 on google and bought a variation for four dollars.
It's allegedly supposed to be only handed out at a special race, but I ordered one straight from the cali site
Here's the description:
RC TA05 Urethane Bumper Black - Ltd
Item #49462
This Option Part will be available as a limited edition event-only item for visitors to this autumn's Tokyo Hobby Show. It is a color variation of an existing gray-colored bumper (ITEM# 51073 TB- 02 Urethane Bumper S), and the new black color will enable the bumper to better blend in with the chassis for a more uniform appearance.
*Compatible Chassis: All TA05 chassis except TA05 MS.
I'll let you all know whether I actually get it or not, according to the above claim
After 3 years, I'm due for a new front bumper . . . .

Toe Block
I need help with my toe block for my rear. Now I'm having the rear inside as 1A and Rear Outside is D. This will give me 1.5 toe in. I want to have 3.0 toe in for the rear. If I want to maintain the rear outside as D, what rating should I get for the rear inside.(suspension mount type). Pls let me know the rating for 3R too.
Tks.

Servo savers
Is one better than the other?
Kimbrough 114 Servo Gear Saver Futaba - white nylon
or
Kimbrough 201 Servo Saver Mid-Size w/Holes - black nylon
on a TA05-R?

0.5 degree difference between each block.
Widest to narrowest goes
E, D, C, B, A, X, XA, XB, XC, XD
So if you want 3 degrees of toe and want to keep the rear D you would need a 1XB. Someone pls confirm.

That sounds correct to me.
