Yes, my step is done after the "tweak" board step. I forgot to include that. But I wanted him to know a fast and quick way to assure that the "droop" isn't messed up in the car. There are tons and tons of ways to go about this.. too much to type!!

Steve(speedtech)- any idea when your going to have the stock Ta05 chassis be available.
cheehtae,

I don't have any in stock at the moment, however, I have one from the kit that I used to build the XR05. Let me know if you need it (PM me )

remind me of kyosho prototype?

hehe just playin' man... yeah i get what you mean, the first thing popped in my mind when i saw that was no doubt the TA05, but then again their earlier belt prototype (the one that Cyrul ran) also had a mid motor. Then if i'm not mistaken kawada had one also. bottomline, tamiya was not the first one but they managed to market it well and indeed the car performs well also, so now they set the benchmark for mid motor belt-driven 4wd EP.

any help.......
I think you build the steering in the wrong way...
Have a look at this part...

I bought a used TA05 kit for USD 50 just because the owner tell me that it's too understeer to the left. While after inspecting the steering, I saw he build it in reverse. So, better check this out. Because, it's true if you build it in reverse then the ballcup will rub the front plastic upper part (that cover the steering).

To clarify, he means part K7, I did it and yes, makes the car feel squiffy.

Not really...should it?

I guess if you ignore two key TA05 factors (equal length belts...optimum motor position) and only look at aftermarket chassis equiped TA05's, then I guess it could remind some of the TA05.

But to me its a pretty big reach to say this is like a TA05. If thats the case, so is the XXX-S.

I just don't get why people insist on comparing how cars look. Just about anything with 4 wheels, a motor, and a chassis looks like something else to somebody on these boards.

Yes, you're right. The K7. Some ppl don;t notice about this 'cause by a glance, the length on both side look almost identical.

Hey Steve, is there anyway we could pre-order the new graphite parts and belts so we make sure to get some when they come in?
