LOL this is how the 2012 World Champ checks his camber!

Good info either way.
The pro's way is the way I was taught.
It figures the tires/wheels into the measurements.
Just like on a 1:1 when a mechanic does an alignment.
Some guys wear tighty whities, some guys wear boxers and some guys go commando.

I wonder if he still does it that way? Legitimate curiousity is all. Seeing NIMH batteries in the picture tell me that it is a little dated.
I have never been to a big level race with drivers like that. The biggest I have done was the USVTA Southern Nats in Nashville earlier this year, and while there were a few sponsored drivers, it was not the same level of competition.
I have the same Tamiya camber gauge though, and used to do the same. I use it for quick checks after hard impacts (my driving gives me ample opportunity) to make sure both sides are the same. If not, I go back to the setup station though to reset everything.
Best is to find what works for you.

That's my problem aswell. How to set the toe angle on my 1/10 F1 car, what tools do I need to set it precisely?
#21
Let us know what he says.

I don't own a setup station.
My toe setting voodoo = a sheet of 1/4" x 1/4" graph paper and and RPM camber guage clamped horizontally to a piece of 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" angle aluminum - tires mounted on the car.
Albeit, its a slower process, but its cheap and effective.

Thank You for the input, I'll try it. What spacers do You have? They have to fit axles, right?

Dollar Hobbyz now carries the Unity Tool Tweak Board.
www.dollarhobbyz.com/tweakboard
$129.99 with free shipping.
The camber/toe blocks are great for a quick check, especially if using setup wheels.
It fits 1/12, 1/10 and 1/8 scale by changing out the center beam. All 3 beam lengths are included.
Tweak Board manual can be found here: Unity Tool Tweak Board Manual - from Dollar Hobbyz
(I apologize for resurrecting an old thread, but thought it was relevant!)
