Default Feed Back on the F201S Chassis

Troy & Team Jaguar.

this is a racer that is running our Chassis.

wow.....what a differance.....when i first saw this chassie on martys site i was mostly interested because of the look (williams body & MLP chassie).i did not really think it would make alot of differance in performance, at most i thought it would just add a little weight to the rear maybe giving it a little more bite but nothing other then that. when the chassie arrived i was concerned that no air would get to the motor causing the motor to overheat, but on the other hand, i was thinking this would be great at keeping the water off the electronics when we race in the rain...even though marty at MLP kept telling me this chassie would make alot of differance i was not really a believer, i mean come-on its just a lower deck right?
well, i put this chassie on T.J.'s car first so he could be the ginny pig the car was fast but T.J. usually is and he never gave me a chance to try it out so frankly, i still did not know what to expect from this chassie. i mounted it on my car the week following (after a bunch of artical 4.1 humor). after one race and one win mind you, i am sold...this chassie does make a big differance. the cornering speed it was able to handle is far better then the 3racing lower deck, the body roll of the car is limited and seems to help keep the rear hooked-up. i also believe the added weight (about 1 gram) helps with the center of gravity. after running the race my motor was not any hotter then usual but i was running a fan and it was not a very hot day as you know. also theres a whole lot of cabon fiber so it will take a hell of a long time to wear this lower deck out.
now i would like to say a few things about my new friend marty (MLP). marty is a hell of a guy, more interested in keeping F1 racing alive and well, then anything, as he is a big fan of the sport. i would suggest you all get to know him as he will become a supporter and sponcer of our sieres. he will be donating one of his chassies as a prize this year. any ideas you have to make the car better...let him know, and if i know marty he'll have it made shortly. send him an email or a personal message and he will always respond usualy the same day. [email protected] on our site as well as the formula f1 site he is dakotaf1.

marty has also offered group pricing to our seires... so when your interested let me know.....

Default MLP F201SCF Chassis and Tony Phalen takes 2nd at KO PROPO.

Hi F1 Racers out there!
Well The 2005 G.P. KO PROPO went off again this year But as we all know we could run any chassis we wanted and any hopup just had to run Grooved tires and a handout motor.

Our very own Steve Wang Took 1st over all Congrats my Friend and MLP's Chassis took 2nd over all with Tony Phalen as for the rest I am unsure for I was not there but if this race comes down next year I will be we also have 3 other drivers there and Fran McQuilin took 10th overall My hat off to you Steve Great Job see you at the race next year.
Thanks to all the sponsors and KO PROPO usa and Tamiya usa for the race and Congrats
Steve Wang

hey marty..any chance the side by side chassis (Battery Set up # 2 Chassis # 1076) will be able to use the battery trays from the Yokomo BD?

this has been the one thing that has kept me from running F201 (stick pack) and motor access (for maintenance). but looks like your chassis is gonna let me come back to F201 again.
