I love it how my words get twisted. Everyone with any common sense knows that guys don't make the A-main just b/c they have fast motors and batteries.

This is absolutely true. We're a motor tuning company, but there were plenty of guys in the lower mains (think 'D' and under) that we tuned motors for (because they asked us to) whose handouts dynoed as strong as mine did and I was in the 'A'.

Like someone else said it's a driver, chassis, motor, battery combo. I worked my tail off to put it in the show over the past month and all the hard work paid off. It wasn't because I had the fastest stock motor in the place. (Okay, maybe I did. Ask Butter about that one.)

BRRRRRRR BRRRRRRR!
You were in the "A" due to the killer paint job. He has been too busy doing the team cars and hasn't had time to do mine. I wanna go faster too.

Good night Clown.

Butter- Sup fewl.

Pro4Capece- Believe it or not, these guys are right. When you go to these big races, you can actually have the SAME people doing your motors as anyone in the building. When you get them they do not even have brushes or anything on them. Most just charge a small fee for the brushes and springs they use of theirs to tune yours with.

Like TJ said, there are at least 25 people in the building that could make the A in stock, but only ten spots. ALOT of it is preperation before the race, and also luck in qualifying. Not the kind of luck that you won't hit anything, but luck that traffic will play to your favor. If you have to follow a slower car for 2 laps, it could keep you out of the main.
