Thats because thats the only changes that have been noted so far. And whether that will be the production car or not is anyones guess at this point. Xray doesn't usually tip their hand early do they? Not to mention the worlds are coming up and they wouldn't want other people copying anything they may have hidden so far. If they think they have an edge they certainly don't want other mfg's knowing about it.

Evolution? If we went with that thought process we'd still be running brushed motors and NiMH. I don't find anything necessarily wrong with the T4 suspension either. But there is always room for improvement. I love the idea of XB4 style inserts. Gives you the solid mounting like the Tamiya uses, but no need for $100 in different blocks. No more checking the suspension mounts after every single run to get the slop out. The maintenance improvement alone would make it worth it to me.

Less parts, slightly freer movement, to be honest I was never a fan of full toe blocks, but I do like what has happened with them now with the inserts, it's just a design feature I like the look of.

I'd bet based on what I have read about, Xray are likely testing all sorts of tweaks, that previous pic likely just shows us one set of parts being tested.

Replace the screws with no depth before they become a nightmare to remove

I often run a piece of cell tape down each side of the car on the outer parts of the chassis so any scratching or curbs gets the tape before the chassis, then replace it every few runs.

Missing a few screws in your top deck Bishop. Don't forget to put them back in.

I accidentally ran the car once with the screws missing from an entire half of the top deck. It really didn't handle as bad as you might think it would. Not a recommended setup though.

Now if Xray would only fix the steering by flipping the steering arms and making shorter posts so we can remove the stupid steering steering limit. Humm...the benefits? Less weight, fewer shims, reduced parts count, lower cg, and no steering limit. I'm sure this feature will be on the T15. lol Then add a 5th body mount on the front tower and a beefier motor mount. Fingers crossed.

Too much steering travel starts to work against you once you go past a point.
It becames more involved, but if you need more steering, you have to look at other areas than the psychical limit of steering travel.

Think of it like timing on our motors, over 60 degrees then your not achieving much after that!

Does anyone shim the motor for weight balance? I'm playing with scales after installing my new LRP flow and X20 5.5, and my car is about 14g heavy on the battery side. I have 14g in the middle that I can move out under the receiver, but I don't think it'll be enough. I still have another 14g to add, but with the way I placed the esc (wires facing motor), I don't have any more free space, except behind the motor and in front of the servo, neither of which are very far out. With 2mm shims between motor and mount, it's only 7-8g heavy on the battery side. I just don't know if that will compromise the integrity of the motor mount and lead to stripped spurs. I'm missing that schui motor clamp a bit right now.
