I recently bought and measured it out to be 1.65 mm in thickness. The stock one is 2.00 mm. I just haven't tested it out yet on carpet. I would assume it would help mellow out the cars handling a little.

I don't think it fits as the centre screw for the motor mount is different on the 2014. I believe it was made for the original BD7 but I am not sure if they released a new high traction upper deck for the 2014!

Not the hot ticket for carpet
Can be of some use in very low grip conditions

in the black series kit it comes with a aluminium servo horn but I really don't feel like stripping a brand new futaba servos spline, recommendations for a good servo saver that still provides good feedback but saved my servo

Iv been run a Durango one,the team gave me one and its fine, not as crisp as just a horn but saved my servo and endless horn racing a tight indoor carpet track 👍

Xray servo savers are the best, I use them and never had a problem. Little expense but worth the money. Matter of fact the one i have on my BD7 i have had for 2 years on the same servo.

Don't know what a "HK" edition is, but all BD7 from 14' >include Hard carbon plastics
