I have real rw spurs ordered from speed tech and my screw heads barely clear the pulley. They are associated standard button head screws. I have has no issues with losing pins or anything on my t3 12 or my bd7 now that I shrink wrap the joints.

If anyone is having trouble building the shocks, get rid of the blue bladders, they are pretty much useless. Get the black ones and replace the bottom o-rings with the optional ones. You wont say anything bad bout the shocks again
What about the pistons I have a massive gap each side (over exaggerated) u have massive side to side play. I got the hg lower rings I'm ordering the black caps also the double o ring set, plus I built mine with the ti shaft set.

Post a pic mate when u can. I'm sure ive not got ae screws but I honestly cannot see them being over .5 mm shorter which is required.
Is it the fact u ordered the spurs already that ur telling yourself they fit?
U can ask Speedtech to order the bd7 spurs from rw I have 2 hours and 10 mins for my delivery so within 3 I will know if any good.

These spurs are good for any 2.5 mm centered spur. TCX and TCXX although std rw fits

Lol yes I'm so worried about a $6 spur that I would lie and give out bad information. I currently have a panaracer spur on my car so no pictures sorry.

I noticed this aswell and found it pretty strange, it means this car will generally need heavier shock oil. The shocks feel good after the option parts are installed

The pulley does rest against the 4 screw heads when using the Xenon and RW spur gears.

However, it does not cause any issues. You just leave off the extra shim included in the instruction supplement. In fact it makes you think this was their original intention hence the updated instructions (the instructions do show an interference fit with the screw heads). The Xenon Panaracer style gears are thick as well.

No extra wobble (perpendicular to the chassis) over the Panaracer set-up. I have loads of packs on mine and there are just slight marks from the screw heads.

*Shrug* To each their own! I will take the one less spacer to worry about personally.

So has anyone actually sat down set a lap time then using the same battery/motor/esc/tires/track/track temp. measured the lap speed difference between the stock plastic's and the graphite stuff?

curious too - have tons of leftover spares from my BD5's, mostly graphite so I'm curious if graphite has an advantage. In my BD5, it was always really edgy and aggressive, and I was very fast but inconsistent. Wonder if it has the same effect on the BD7...

Does anyone know how much weight I can save using the titanium turnbuckles and titanium screws? I need to lose 38+ grams of weight.

On my BD5 I've looked that, is was only about 10 grams for the screws if I remember well

That's not bad. That would put me at about -30 if I remove the center 20g weight. I'm assuming the titanium turnbuckles would save me quite a bit.

I am at the IIC in Las Vegas and spoke with a very reliable source that mentioned A Main Hobbies will soon be the U.S. Distributor!
