100%....I gained a full lap by switching from Tekin to LRP.....the new software is better for ppl like me that doesnt have that smooth finger, but Im faster with the LRP by far...is the esc faster...NO...cause plenty guys are faster than me with the Tekin...but for my driving stlye and learning curve, its LRP for me...
Our track owner and myself are doing some testing for esc in USVTA, and finding that the truth is, NOT ALL ESC's are the same...

Out of the 20 esc's in the 13.5 and 17.5 mains, 10 were tekins, 5 were LRP, 3 Hackers, and two Team Powers.
Just think how much faster the ten Tekin drivers would have been if they had the "better feel" of the LRP.
Feel, ladies and gentleman, is subjective. Race results, on the other hand, are not subjective.
Two blinky classes at the Reedy, two wins for Tekin and 50% coverage in the Mains. Obviously, not everyone believes the Tekin suffers in terms of driveability........

How many other speed controls made four years ago are still winning big races? I don't see anybody rocking the Sphere or SPX. I've probably spent $1000 on ESC's since then not to mention the LRP data cable which has been used zero times in the last 1.5 years because that's how many updates came out.
Results tell the important parts of the story, and Tekin has that covered. I'm glad that my rcprogear site helps set people (like me) straight.
Feel is highly subjective, and varies between people and tracks. Find a combo you love and bury people with it.
