Yokomo MR4TC-BD
#4786
hmm well all the people i know run associated tc3 and tc4 where i race at i just dont think the tc4 is a top car. Id like to try a belt car would you guy recommend the bd over the others or is it a toss up really? The part are are losi and associated. But i talked with my parts guy and he said that if i bought the set up station and the xray car he would give me a good deal on it and keep parts in stock for me. and he said he could also stock the yoko parts the rdx he said he prolly couldnt do much with. so prolly need to stay with the x ray or the yoko. so What should i really do is one car better in areas then other? if so could someone shine some light on it for me please thanks.

I would say get the YOKOMO BD. I been running thiscar on carpet for the last 5-6 months and I'm pretty competitive with this car till they close the track down ... But luckily they will open a new better carpet track here in my area.
I have the fastest lap time and my local track so far running against
X-ray,RDX and Tamiya on both expert stock and 19T class considering I'm the only guy running the YOKOMO BD.
This car tweaks easy so I suggest you use a cone washer on your top deck to solve this issue.

A guy here at the local track runs a BD and he runs rather well with it in 19T foam. He made a custom upper deck that is double the thickness to stiffen it up. He once told me it handles awesome with rubber tires on carpet also.
I would try one but I have too many cars as it is.

at the just finished US Carpet Nationals
There was a BD in the Modified A and also the Masters A finals. Both finished well in the top 5 i believe.
The biggest thing in "high" traction is to stiffen up the car using either a thicker chassis, top deck or both when running foams. Rubber tire the stock chassis and top deck should be fine.
imho
