Just checked out Speedtech's site and the car did have it's own set of aluminum universals. I wasnt aware that it used different suspension, but what kind of arm mounts were used?

The SDW used a shorter front arm with a wider front suspension mount. The universals used will fit on a regular SD or BD but since they're all aluminum, including the axle, they're not very durable.

Do you know if the wider suspension mount would fit on the BD? That would propably give more aggressive steering which would be a really good thing at SoCal.

Yokomo USA doesn't have a firm release date on the locked center pulley yet. Their best guess is a couple of weeks away.

the arms are the same as the Hd's but the inner hinge pin hole is drilled closser together. the chassis seems to be drilled for the standard suspension which I will try soon. The uni's are offset in the hubs by spacers front and rear so if you switch to standatd bones or uni's, take the spacers out...

I got my SD-008HG from R10 and StormerHobbies. Had to have something as a spare or backup. Could have used the old SD arms as spares. But if I'm not mistaken, the shock mounting holes are aligned different than the H and HG arms.

The old arms just have more mounting holes, from what I saw, there werent any differences between the hole alignment.

Yes I see now. You are correct. The H and HG front arms only include the 1st 2 holes. And the rears only include the last 3 holes. I was aligning them up wrong hehe... My bad. I don't have my SD anymore to compare..

I'm running the old stype 008G arms with no problems. So for anyone that cant find the HG arms, just go with the old style.
