Square makes titanium ball studs for the Cyclone/Pro4. I have yet to break/bend any of the ones on my car.

Speedtech carries them but they are out right now. I would email Steve and see when they might be coming in.

I think they are out of stock at RCmodel also, mine is still on back order, like 3 months now.

Unfortunately trying to find the Square parts is nearly inposible. What I did was use Xray 5mm studs and their unidirectional ends. Works perfect and there is no slop at all yet is does not bind.

I have been running 12th scale the last few months and it’s getting close to outdoor time and I have to decide what touring car to get. I live in OH and we run foam tires out side. Has anyone tried the cyclone like this, if so what do you think? I have posted this in T2 and 415 forms also; I didn’t want to start another this vs. that thread.

Checkout the link below and download the final between an HPI driver against a local Champ. Both are running foams on their Cyclone.

Enjoy

Yeah,
they are both running foams. The HPI Team driver is Daisuke Yoshioka of Japan who came 3rd at the last Worlds, only bettered by Marc and Atsushi ( i think he even won one of the A finals too). He was here in NZ the weekend before and handed out a big lesson to the locals. Apparently he rarely races outside of Japan but has mad skills.

Default Looking for universals upgrade

I need to replace my alum. dogbones. Does anyone have any of the following:
HB Front Steel Universal Dogbone 61043
HPI MIP CVD universal set (Pro4)
HPI Steel dogbone 75186
TiR Cyclone CVD set
TiR Pro CVD set
or even the Tamiya Steel 46mm dogbones which I think should fit.

Thanks.
