Even better,

More than half the cost and only a tiny bit slower.

Yea I bought that fan too. It is slower. moves less air (CFM)
The one I suggested it rated at 5V 13000rpm and 3.5 CFM.
Just wanted people to get the best fan for their $$$$

I bought a 12v fan for 6 cell touring. It doesn't move much air and I have it plugged into the 3rd channel on the reciever. If I were to cutoff the yellow wire and soldier it the the motor tabs, would I get more air flow? Or do I need to just trash it and buy a 5v fan?

All the yellow wire does is speed monitoring (in a pc) if it has a small 3 pin connector.
Just buy a 5v fan

Here is the new Corally rdx fan mount that we have been working on. It is availble in either a single or a Double unit.
The kit is a direct fit on to the car and contains all necessary hardwear and fixings.
