Agreed! I believe the moderators deleted the other thread so we will just post all our information on here -- just trying to do everything we can so show you all the great features and benefits this car has to offer.

Sorry guys for the confusion. Thought making an official thread from ARC USA would be more supportive. We will be supporting this original thread so please let us know if you have any questions, we are always willing to help. Once again thanks for your continued support for this touring car platform.

OK well, since we're doing pictures... here's some more photo's of my R10 all ready for test and tune at the track tomorrow night. Disregard the old LRP speedo, just waiting on my new Viper BE's.
The car is balanced with no additional weight required although, it's a little heavy at 1394g race ready, partly due to the ancient electronics I have in it right now. The Reedy packs weight in at about 315g and make for a nice balance (I hate sticking lead all over a new chassis).
Our club track is 36X80 CRC carpet, fairly bumpy and technical. I've lightened the shock oil to 350cst to start with.
I'll post my findings with final setup later tomorrow night.

Default first test results

Ran the R10 for the first time tonight, excellent results on our smallish technical carpet track. Only a couple of adjustments were needed to get the car very close to race ready for my driving style:
- reduced steering rack shims to 1mm (increase ackerman)to calm down the steering
- went to cst450 in the shocks (from 350) to increase transition stability
cst 500 as per the kit setup would probably nail it on a smooth track
- no other changes from box setup
Right out of the box, the R10 turned the same fast lap as my T3/12 (I've been running for the past year) and...the R10 is much more consistent lap after lap. I need to do a little more tuning on roll centers, then I'll post a setup.

Hey Jim,
Glad to hear that the car works straight out of he box with little adjustments. Shock oil and roll center really make the car drive different. If traction comes up, you can also try putting 0.5mm shims (stock 1.0mm) under all the suspension hinge blocks. It flattens the car and makes it really responsive.

Round 1 in the books at the Cleveland Indoor Champs. Josh was a very game, 2nd in Mod Touring, saying he for some dirt on the tires (going off line I guess) and bounced around a little as the laps cleaned the tires off. With very strong laps at the end I the run. The R10 was working good.

We'll be testing tonight with the flex chassis, 1.6 top deck, split rear block and floating servo mount.
Having done a club race with the "out of the box" R10, it'll be cool to find out how much we gain with the option parts installed.
I'll be sure to post our findings.

I've found the flex chassis makes the car a little more forgiving and smoother overall with increased rear grip from the split mount in the rear. The floating servo mount allowed me to run a servo saver (important at our club track with solid CRC boards on carpet). Picked up 2 tenths on my fast lap and 1 tenth on my top 20 with the mods.
We'll be running the car this weekend at our WCICS series race in 17.5 blinky and Mod. This weekend's track will be more typical to what we'll all run on with the R10, higher grip and a larger layout. I'll post setup sheets for both cars after the finals.
