A big thanks to Scotty at Trackside for trusting and hosting the first races. Thanks also to Doug, Rob and all the other visionaries that kept things progressing and taking the concept National.

I hope you all continue to enjoy VTA.

Thank you, Marty...a simple idea you started at Trackside!

Does this mean you are not going to be marketing any MPH Trackers with the cutoff set to 6v for lipo?

Thanks in advance

I am still dreaming of the day when HPI or some other R/C body manufacturer would make this 1972 Pontiac Firebird into a PolyCarb body.

Thanks Darkside, it looks like I have the Performance version ( oh dear !).....

How do they compare performance wise ? I realise they arent legal in the U.S , but for club racing here , it wont matter. Once they wear out , I will buy the correct items , I might add.

Several locals ran them during the HPI tire shortage that happened. They were comparable traction on carpet (some think slightly better) but suffered in durability. I do not think you will have any major issues or be running circles around the field because of them.

Ok Myron, you have a deal! I am bringing my Nikko '72 Firebird with me to the USVTA+ Southern Nationals in September. If you promise to get it in the right hands (i.e. HPI or Protoform) then I will hand it over to you.

If we can make a buck. McCallister will pull them. By that I mean if we can make a mold from the Nikko then they will pull the shells for us.
Then all we need is some good photos of the lights and trim and I think I could photoshop a decal sheet together. I bet Seils could print them for us.
